Kanha National Park

22.3345° N to 80.6115° E

Nestled in the heart of India’s Madhya Pradesh, Kanha National Park stretches across an impressive 772 square miles (2000 square kilometers) of lush Sal Forest, offering a truly breathtaking natural expanse.
This pristine landscape served as a wellspring of inspiration for the legendary Nobel Prize Laureate, Sir Rudyard Kipling, who penned the timeless classic, The Jungle Book.
Within its verdant embrace, Kanha is not only renowned as the dwelling place of India’s mightiest Tigers but also as a sanctuary of hope for these majestic creatures. Experts believe that in the face of extinction, Kanha will stand as one of the last bastions for their survival.
What sets Kanha apart is its profound connection with its sister parks. Through collaborative efforts, it has played a pivotal role in managing wildlife crises and nurturing species on the brink of disappearing forever.
Delving into history, this land once bore witness to the reign of the Gondwana dynasty and was inhabited by the indigenous tribes of Gond and Baiga. Remarkably, these tribes still call the vicinity of the park home, illustrating a remarkable harmony between wildlife and human life. They possess an innate understanding of the jungle’s significance to both the environment and their own well-being, thereby reducing the potential for any conflicts between man and beast. Kanha stands as a living testament to this harmonious coexistence.

The jungle safari provides you with a unique opportunity, thrill and excitement of getting up close with nature.
